Emerald Grove sells natural-fibre clothing and nursery goods to families across Canada. This policy explains what we collect when you shop with us, why we hold it, and how to have it removed.
What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, delivery address, email address and phone number. Payment card details are entered on the payment processor’s form and are never stored on our servers.
When you browse we record the pages you visit, the products you view and the device you use, so we can keep the catalogue working and spot problems early.
When you subscribe to our newsletter we hold your email address until you unsubscribe.
Why we hold it
To pick, pack and deliver your order, and to contact you if something about it changes.
To handle returns and warranty claims, which sometimes means keeping a record after the order has closed.
To meet Canadian tax and consumer-protection requirements, which set minimum retention periods we cannot shorten.
Who we share it with
Our courier, so your parcel can be delivered. Our payment processor, so your card can be authorised. Our accountants, where the law requires it.
We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to advertisers.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your basket, remember whether you prefer light or dark mode, and measure which pages are used. The cookie policy lists them.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Deletion requests are honoured except where a record must be kept for tax or warranty reasons.
You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in the footer of any message; that does not stop order confirmations, which are not marketing.
Children
We sell goods for children but we sell them to adults. Accounts are for over-18s, and we do not knowingly collect information from a child.
